The Global Syrah Masters 2026 highlighted the consistently high quality and diversity of Syrah/Shiraz from around the world. Australia was particularly strong, offering good value at lower price points as well as numerous Gold and Master-winning wines. The judges specifically noted excellent value below £15, with strong performances from Australia, Chile, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and South Africa. Across the whole competition, 13 medal-winning wines fell into the “Under £10” or “£10–£15” categories:
